Year End Art Exhibition

The school is organising an art exhibition as the school year draws to an end. The art exhibits display our school pupils' artistic talents in various art forms. Here is a sampling of the various art exhibits which will be displayed throughout the whole of week 10, 12th to 17th of November 2007.

(From Left to Right)

'Starry Night' by Benedict Lim & Joel Lim, Pri 6F and Alicia Tan, Pri 6C. These students have learnt how to mix colours with white and black. This is an extension of the colouring exercise. The students learnt to paint the pictures from Vincent Van Gogh's 'Starry Night'.

'Colour Elephants' by Keefe Yane, Pri 3G. His elephants are really colourful, don't you think so?

''Colourful Houses' pupils from Pri 3G. The students have learnt to use the 'mosaic' method to fill up their houses with colourful papers.

(From Left to Right)
'Shoes' by Pri 3 pupils. The pupils use recycled old shoes to depict the vibrant colours and designs of our young artists.

'Masks' by Pri 5 pupils. The pupils displayed their creative juices in their design of the paper-mache masks through the use of interesting lines, patterns and colours, all of which were captured vividly in their work.

'Rocking Chairs' by Pri 5 pupils. An assembly of handicraft works where the pupils made use of wooden pegs to assemble/make a rocking chair.

'Vehicles' by Pri 1 pupils. A visual display of innovative design of vehicles

'Ocean Diorama' by Pri 2C pupils. The vivid scene of ocean life is aptly captured by these dioramas.

'Paper Soft Toys' by Pri 1A pupils. These paper soft toys just so adorable, don't you agree?

(From Left to Right)

'Angel' by Tang Wei Qi, Pri 6F. The picture is filled with rice grains. The rice grains were painted before they were glued onto the paper.

'Fabric Art' by Pri 6 pupils. This fabric art work involves a long process where the pupils designed their own patterns by using pebbles, marbles and paper clips; the cloth is then dyed into vibrant hues of colours.
